Yvonne Collier Alexander was born and reared in Little Rock, AR and is a life member of Union AME Church located on the corner of Wright Avenue & Pulaski. A product of the Little Rock public school system, she attended Dunbar Jr. High and the historic Central High school. She's also a 1973 graduate of Philander Smith College, and an active member of Beta Pi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

     Yvonne was employed as an Associate Accountant for 25-years with Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies (Chicopee Mfg.), which was located in North Little Rock, AR before it closed and moved operations to Canada. She recently retired as Director of Alumni Affairs at Philander Smith College, and remains active as an alumnus and volunteer through the PSC National Alumni Association holding office as National Corresponding Secretary. 

     Volunteerism for the relevancy of HBCU's, community awareness, and music appreciation are only a few of her passions in life.
